Covid-19 Memorials - Faces of Coronavirus
The sole purpose of this page is to memorialize each person that succumbed to COVID-19.
To my Republican and Independent friends and neighbors. There will always be political differences between Americans. But don't worry -- voting for Harris/Walz doesn’t make you a Democrat, it just makes you a patriot.
For each of you who wish to join in a virtual vigil today across the U.S., here is information on a national vigil happening today (March 7) at 5 p.m. Pacific Time.
This national event enables attendees to travel virtually across the country to experience memorial events, view memorial photographs of loved ones lost to COVID-19, hear readings of personal letters, and take action on behalf of COVID victims and surviving friends and families.

RIP Dr. Julie R. Butler of New York, N.Y. May you find eternal comfort in the arms of the Lord.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Julie R. Butler, the owner of the 145th Street Animal Hospital.
Dr. Butler’s passion for her patients was legendary. Her expertise and commitment to her clients, colleagues and neighbors have been a mainstay of the Harlem community for more than 30 years.
Following a period of mourning, the 145th Street Animal Hospital will strive to continue her mission: providing “professional care with a personal touch”. We will reach out with more information about the future of the practice as soon as we are able.
Our hearts are lifted by the overwhelming outpouring of support from those who loved her as we do. We ask that you please respect the privacy of the family during this difficult time.
Thank you,
Family and Staff of Dr. Julie R. Butler, DVM
Thank you for visiting the COVID-19 Memorials - Faces of Coronavirus Group and helping to remember and celebrate the lives of the people who have succumbed to the disease.
As of Apr. 7, 2020, about 1.3 million cases of COVID-19 had been recorded globally, according to figures from Johns Hopkins University. Roughly 78,000 people had died from complications related to the virus.
In the US alone, 378, cases had been identified as of that date and US officials had estimated that the deadly pathogen could kill between 100,000 and 240,000 Americans.
For most people, these numbers are staggering in and of themselves, but for those who have lost family members or other loved ones to this disease, the number “one” was enough to devastate them and drive home the severity of the growing coronavirus pandemic.
The mission of the COVID-19 Memorial - Faces of Coronovirus Group is to provide an avenue for people to put faces to the numbers – to remember and to celebrate the lives of the people who have died from causes related to the disease.
Any member of this group is able and encouraged to post specific publicly-released and attributed content and personal anecdotes and memories about those who have died from COVID-19 complications.
Please remember that the sole purpose of this Facebook group is to allow members to memorialize and celebrate the lives of those who have died from complications of COVID-19.
This is not a group to post opinions, discussions about the disease or any content not related to memorializing COVID-19 victims. Any other content will be deleted.
