After long last, SGI Brewfest week is here!

We've spent the last 5 months telling you about all the great things that'll be happening at this event and the awesome breweries coming to pour. And we still have a little bit left to tell you about, including some of the amazing vendors going to be there Saturday. Starting with ...

Indian Lagoon Oysters!πŸ¦ͺ

Yes, that's right: for the first time in 7 years of the SGI Brewfest, the county that is home to the "Oyster Capital of the World" is going to feature oysters at our event! πŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ

Indian Lagoon, which is utilizing farm-raised oysters, is based in historic Port St. Joe, Florida, which is home to ancient oyster beds, renowned for producing some of the tastiest and plumpest oysters along the Gulf Coast. They're a family-run business that uses the latest sustainable oyster farming techniques to grow delicious oysters in our local, pristine waters!

They will be set up at the event and serving up their delicious farm raised oysters for all 4 hours - or until SOLD OUT. Whichever comes first!

We are so excited to have them here with us this year!

Tickets to the 2024 SGI Brewfest - all levels - are SOLD OUT. Although, you can still get passes if you buy a $500 or $750 sponsorship package. Reach out to SGI Brewfest Committee Member Sheryl Clouse if interested! (608-397-2019 or [email protected])

Oysters are so very important to the health of our waters...

A single hectare of restorative aquaculture can remove more than half a ton of nitrogen, increase the abundance of wild fish up to 5 tons per year, filter 40 Olympic-sized swimming pools of water per day, and capture carbon dioxide in coastal waterways.

On World Food Day, we thank regenerative shellfish and kelp farmers who are feeding their communities while addressing climate change and biodiversity loss.
