🚨 NOW TAKING NEW PATIENTS 🚨
Psychiatric Provider, Port St. Lucie & Stuart Offices
My name is Claudia Adrian, and I firmly believe that achieving inner balance and mental wellness is essential for a fulfilling life, beyond any diagnosis or symptoms. In my role as a psychiatric nurse practitioner, my expertise lies in psychopharmacology and brief supportive therapy. With over 15 years of experience in healthcare, I have served a wide range of clients from diverse backgrounds, assisting those grappling with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, antenatal and postpartum depression, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, and other mental health issues. My aim is to optimize symptom relief with minimal medication doses to reduce side effects, offering a personalized, holistic approach to care, anchored in empathy and respect. I am committed to collaborating with my clients to reach their mental health goals in a supportive, evidence-based manner, leveraging their strengths to enhance their quality of life.
My journey in healthcare began more than 15 years ago, starting with my undergraduate studies at Barry University, followed by a Master in Nursing Science from Frontier University, where I specialized in Midwifery and comprehensive women’s health care. My career has always intertwined mental wellness with the management of physical health, leading me to further specialize in mental health through a Post Master Certificate, culminating in my certification as a psychiatric nurse practitioner.
Outside of my professional life, I am passionate about supporting organizations that improve life quality and provide hope, such as Kiva.org, which aims to broaden financial access for underserved communities, Midwives for Haiti, and Doctors Without Borders. One of my aspirations is to establish a non-profit to expand mental health care access for minority and underserved groups. Leisurely, I enjoy exploring new places, hiking, reading, and cherishing moments with my children and our cat.
