"This was the friendliest hospital I have ever been in. From the time we arrived for my mom’s surgery until she was released to her rehab facility, the staff was amazing. She and I felt very comfortable, and I was relieved she was so well cared for. I’ve never been in a medical facility where people actually remembered my name and asked about 'momma' every time they saw me. I highly recommend HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital, and if 'momma' ever needs surgery again, we will do everything we can to make sure it's in this facility!!"

HCA Florida Maitland Emergency is a full-service, state-of-the-art emergency room with board certified emergency medicine physicians, nurses and healthcare professionals ready to service the needs of the community with the same capabilities as a main hospital emergency room. It features 11 emergency exam rooms, CT scan, digital X-ray, ultrasound and laboratory services, and is capable of caring for all ages, including pediatrics. The 11,000-square-foot facility is expected to serve more than 100,000 local residents and employs approximately 22 full-time healthcare professionals

This past weekend, our team at HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital had another wonderful volunteering experience at Mustard Seed Ministries in Fort Pierce.

This year HCA Healthcare announced that the HCA Healthcare Foundation, through its Healthier Tomorrow Fund, will contribute $1 million over the next three years to the Consortium of Florida Education Foundations. This funding aims to support the Career Pathways to a Healthier Florida program.

This program aims to help create and expand healthcare career pathways for underserved high school students across the state of Florida.

HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital presented the St. Lucie County Education Foundation with a check for $60,000 as part of this grant.
