Our friends at HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital will be holding a Teddy Bear Clinic next Saturday. If you’re like us, you’re planning for the weekend already! A fun-filled, family event including loads of hands-on activities, face painting and balloons. Plus a visit from the Firefighters 🚒

This year HCA Healthcare announced that the HCA Healthcare Foundation, through its Healthier Tomorrow Fund, will contribute $1 million over the next three years to the Consortium of Florida Education Foundations. This funding aims to support the Career Pathways to a Healthier Florida program.

This program aims to help create and expand healthcare career pathways for underserved high school students across the state of Florida.

HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital presented the St. Lucie County Education Foundation with a check for $60,000 as part of this grant.

"We are thrilled to support the St. Lucie County Education Foundation in their efforts to cultivate healthcare career pathways for high school students,” said Corey Lovelace, Chief Executive Officer at HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital. "We are committed to investing in the future of healthcare within our community, guaranteeing that students are equipped with the necessary resources and opportunities to pursue careers in this crucial field."
