I wonderful client of mine brought something interesting to my attention recently. She was having all kinds of weird symptoms including tingling in the legs and some in the upper back. She had other odd symptoms as well and was given every test you can imagine. You will never guess what the issue was.... Vitamin B6 toxicity!! Yes, that is a thing! Symptoms for B6 toxicity can include:
-Pain in the hands, feet, face, etc..
-Burning
-Widespread pain
-Muscle weakness
-Losing muscle mass
-Exercise intolerance
-Blood volume issues which can cause brain fog, headaches, lightheadedness, anxiety
-Blood pressure issues (high and low)
-Pulse issues (rapid or slow heartbeat)
-Digestive issues including IBS, diarrhea, constipation, bloatedness
-Dry eyes
-Dry mouth.
So if you have a lot of these issues and the doctors can't figure out what it is, maybe have your vitamin B6 levels checked.
