I've not been using this page much because FB has decided to make it as confusing as all get out. I do still make soap but mostly by special order. If you would like to arrange for an order you can contact me via this page.

I made soap today. Here is a helpful hint. Aloe Vera gel in soap makes a batch move very, very, very fast. You are welcome.

Christmas soap is being made.

I still hate what FB has done to pages. Now for the good news.
I am working on scents fro Christmas soaps. My webpage is terribly out of date so if you are interested in making a purchase please message me on FB and I'll let you know what I have and the prices.

I have been very neglectful in keeping up with my page. First because I have not been very active recently and second because I hate what FB has done to this page. But I promise once I get in gear and start creating wonderful soaps again I will be back.

I think I must write an ode to Damp Rid.

I've been absent from soaping for a time but I think I feel inspiration coming on. Time to put on the soaping togs.

My next soap will be made with a scent blend picked out by Havanna. A white tea and floral fragrance. Today's task is to make up some prebatches. Onward.

I despise the new page format by FB.

For my next soap I've updated "Beau Geste" one of my early blends. To a base of vetiver, violet , and cinnamon fragrances I've added a citrus fragrance and lime essential oil. I think it will be a success.

Soap is in the mold. This one is scented with rose, lilac, hyacinth, lemon verbena and herbal fragrances.

I have been working on updating my website. Please be patient as Weebly has changed their formatting and it is a bit of a struggle. I do have more soaps than listed. So please PM me if you would like to place an order and I can send a complete list of available soaps.

Finally got that batch of Captiva Charm poured.

I am working on some new fragrance blends today. This is one of my favorite parts of soap making. I'm working with Pina-Colada fragrance oil as a base. I've done two different blends and will let them settle for a few days before checking the progress. I do like it when a blend works out.

I also do custom orders where I will create a unique blend. It can be based on the event or on an individuals scent preference. For example if a customer has a beach wedding I would develop a scent with a key note of an ocean fragrance. If they wanted a romantic fragrance I would start with a base of a floral like rose or jasmine. I always enjoy doing this. I'll also do custom packaging for the event.

"Captive Charm" is blended and in the pot. I will probably soap it over the weekend. This soap has tropical and stone fruit fragrances along with spring florals, exotic spices and creamy vanilla scents.

"Southern Cross" is in the mold. This goat milk soap is a blend of patchouli essential oil plus ginger lemon honey, ginger papaya and violet fragrance oils. I add vanilla bean powder to give it a light texture.

"Magi Rose" Christmas soap is ready to be packaged. If all goes right I will have some at Wednesday Green Market.

Before Hurricane Matthew came through (it stayed off shore and never grew as strong as expected in this area) I managed to make a batch of this year's Christmas soap. It is a blend of nutmeg, rose, frankincense&myrrh fragrances with cardamom essential oil. To tell y'all that it smells positively scrumptious would be an understatement.

Madrigal is in the mold. This goat milk soap is scented with a blend of lavender and lime essential oils along with chai and orange spice chai fragrances.

Does anybody know how I get rid of those "This Week" posts that FB has inflicted upon me?
