Good morning, VBS/Children Camp In Haiti. Thank you for the gifts and the love. Aside from gaining decision-making skills, leadership skills, and social skills at a summer program, they also get plenty of physical activity as well!. Yes, your child may miss their phone, tablet, or gaming system at first, but once they start exploring, interacting with their peers, engaging in a variety of activities, and having new adventures, they are sure to leave summer camp with stories, photographs, friendships, life lessons, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Rejoice evermore!
Teach children to get excited about the Lord by worshiping and singing to our amazing Creator!

Death has no day, it has no date, it has no fate, and it hits whoever it wants... Yet we will never be able to get used to it.

The sad news of the death of Dr. Denis JEAN BAPTISTE has hit everyone, and has left a lot of sadness in the Central Plateau community. The country lost a man who believed in work and excellence. A man who wanted to fight to change the face of his home.

In this circumstance, the staff at Habitat For Children Ministries, sends their sympathy to all those affected by this death, especially his family, friends and students.

Because of this, the Habitat For Children Ministries Care Center Clinic will be closed on Friday, July 12 in observance of the funeral ceremony of this great prestigious man!

God gives and God takes.
May he rest in peace in God’s care .

Socio-economic problems continue to crop up in the Haitian population. Parents do not have enough means to take care of their children properly and provide good and healthy meals for them. The lack of nutrition for these children can cause many other diseases.

On July 8, 2024, around 10 o'clock in the morning, the Habitat For Children Ministries Care Center clinic received an 11-month-old baby who came in for a cough, fever, runny nose, and shortness of breath. When we started to examine him, we found that he only weighed 4.9 kilograms and he appeared very anemic. After doctors evaluated him, they concluded that he had severe acute malnutrition and a lung infection. Quickly after we talked to the parents to explain the child's problem, the staff decided to transfer him to a hospital because the clinic does not yet have the capacity to treat children with these types of illnesses.

It is a problem that we find in many areas in Haiti, especially those who live in remote areas, where parents often do not take their children to receive medical care because they do not have enough means to pay for an office visit or buy medicine. We hope that more efforts are made to allow these children to get assistance because malnutrition has great consequences on the children's lives.

The Habitat Pediatric and Women's Clinic officially opened its doors on June 24 and has begun full operation. The clinic has provided vital healthcare services to over 200 members of the community. However, to sustain and expand our outreach efforts, we are seeking funds to be able to purchase more medications and support ongoing clinical operations both within our facility and throughout the community. Your generous contributions will enable us to continue delivering essential care to those in need. Thank you for your support in advancing our mission of healthcare accessibility and excellence. You can donate any sum of money at the following places. Thank you all and God bless.

Local nonprofits begin supply flights back to Haiti after Port au Prince airport reopens 05/22/2024

Exciting news update last night!

Despite the challenges, the team remains determined to keep children alive and provide much-needed support.
Meschac St. Amour runs Habitat for Children Ministries, which serves children in Haiti.

He said just because supplies can now get to Port au Prince, that doesn’t mean those supplies will make it to other areas of the country where they’re desperately needed.
