We’re thrilled to announce that Zach Perkins, pending board approval, will be joining Port Washington High School as our new head varsity baseball coach. Zach is a valuable addition to our PE/Health department this year, bringing his expertise and enthusiasm to both the classroom and the field. Please join us in welcoming him to the PWHS community!

The PWHS Athletic Department is excited to work with Dr. Brittany Herrick throughout the upcoming school year. Dr. Herrick will provide valuable information and training to all PWHS Athletics Coaches. We believe Dr. Herrick’s approach to coaching the mental part of high school athletics will greatly benefit our athletes and athletic programs.

“As a result of evidence-based, individualized, and holistic mental training, athletes will learn to better regulate their thoughts and emotions during practice and competition. Mental training can help athletes make real-time evaluations and adjustments by implementing their mental skills in order to take control of various circumstances and situations. These skills will not only be beneficial for athletic performance, but can also be transferred to real world applications, developing the whole person.”

Port Washington High School is thrilled to announce the hiring of Dave Ross as the Head Girl’s Basketball Coach.

Coach Ross brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success throughout his 30 years of coaching, compiling a 439-280 record. He spent the last 23 years at Cedarburg, guiding them to two WIAA State Tournament appearances (D2 state runner-up in 2015).

We are excited to welcome back Coach Ross to the Pirate Family!
