I've seen dozens of photos in Union and am really familiar with flares from street lights and mist from our breath. This doesn't look like anything I've ever seen before. We're by the anchor monument.

Spirits of the Silent City: Unfinished Business news!

Caper Company, Forest Home Cemetery and the Boys & Girls Club have teamed up to present tours specifically for their youth. B&GC's after school program will be sending a total of 250 young people on Thursday, October 19th and Friday, October 20th for special tours just for them.

Same historical characters with a very slightly shorter route. Gotta get those kids through!

Insider: I had no idea if enough of our SotSC:UB cast members would be able to make it earlier in the day to pull off these extra tours. I didn't need to worry. Almost everyone was able to re-arrange their schedules / taking time from their day jobs to participate.

Special Announcement - especially for our friends and fans who've joined us on investigations at the Riverside Theater, Union Cemetery, Eclectic Avenue, Galloway House and Historic Village, Brumbder Mansion, Marcus Center, Turner Hall, etc - the Caper Company team is ready to turn our significant resources to another investigation.

There are a bunch of places widely shared online as haunted. They're cool places but the most intriguing investigations we've had happen when we get to meet the person(s) experiencing possible paranormal activity. Obviously, since we host ticketed investigations, we're big fans of that! However, we're not interested in locations that charge you to investigate right now.

If you wonder if a place of business or property might be haunted - If you've ever visited a public place and had a paranormal experience, we'd love to hear from you.

All initial conversations are kept strictly confidential. If we investigate and if if you give your permission we might share a few results on the website and facebook. The ability to share is one of the reasons we primarily investigate private businesses and public places vs residences. Our investigations are free of charge, too.

For a quick IM conversation, please contact us via the Caper Company page messenger vs a public post. As we said, confidentiality is very important to us.

Before our Port Washington ghost walks and ghost hunts last weekend, I added a 'sign up for our e-newsletter' option on the Caper Company website. Right after the walks and hunts, a whole bunch of people signed up. I'd say that's a good sign!!!

Our 6:30 hunts are full and we expect both 7:00 pm tours will be sold out VERY soon! But, great tour times still available later in the evening if you act now (bringing a large group? The 8:00 Friday and the 9:00 Saturday tours are your best bet!)

Most popular dates and times for the Galloway Ghost Hunt up in Fond du Lac are Friday, October 14th at 8:00 pm and Saturday, October 15th at 6:00 pm. If those are your picks, don't wait too much longer.

The team is heading up for one more investigation this Saturday. Get a gauge of the current activity and investigate our final buildings. This trip will determine the specific locations we're going to investigate with people on the 14th and 15th. This is one stoked team, let me tell you.

Fond du Lac Galloway House and Historic Village Ghost Hunts For the first time ever, the Fond du Lac County Historical Society is opening its exclusive doors to the Galloway House and Historic Village to guest ghost hunters.

The Galloway Ghost Hunts 2022 advance tickets link has been sent to folks who registered to receive it. In a couple of days, it will be added to the website for everyone to use.

Some of our family of Milwaukee area investigators are heading up to Fond du Lac on Sept 17th for another go at the Galloway House and Historic Village. There are 17 buildings and a thorough investigation takes time and repetition so we've only managed to hit 5 or 6 of them thus far.

I'm excited to introduce the dressmakers shop to some new investigators - from outside. They can go in. I'll share reports of experiences from the porch because I'm not going in there again.

The veterinarians clinic and print shop are high on my personal list. It's like being a kid in a candy store....
