African Fashion Show PDX is Seeking Designers! 🤩

African Fashion Show PDX is seeking passionate and creative designers to join their 2024 line up for this spectacular event. Designers who can add to the heart and soul of the production with vibrant colors, textures, and styles in full representation of the dynamic beauty of African culture and designers who specialize in male attire are strongly encouraged to join.

The African Fashion Show PDX is an annual fundraiser that brings the Spirit of Africa to the Portland area, serving its mission to increase cultural awareness, personal empowerment, and connections to the Motherland. The African Fashion show is scheduled to take place on November 16th, 2024. Through this immersive cultural celebration, African Fashion Show PDX strives to advance economic development, increase employment, and raise awareness of BIPOC businesses, encouraging the growth and expansion of our community.

African Fashion Show PDX benefits the Firmina Foundation in its mission to provide education in the developing world.

Today we are featuring some basic facts about MOZAMBIQUE 🇲🇿

Mozambique gained its independence from Portugal in 1975. The official language is Portuguese. There are over 30 unique cultural groups and 38 major cities in Mozambique.

Mozambique is well-known for its stunning beaches, amazing seafood, and diverse cultures.
