🌊Swell Affair’s 2024 capsule is now live🦑

We’re pumped to launch our best collection yet, featuring art-forward designs for surfers and ocean lovers from Maine and beyond. This year we are also stoked to partner with .io - for every order we are funding the diversion of 1lb of plastic waste from entering our oceans.

Let’s be real on no brand is truly sustainable or saving the planet. Our approach is by staying small, and focusing on classic designs that will stay timeless rather than releasing new stuff every season and large quantities that will end up in the trash at the end of the year. To mitigate Swell Affair’s impact we do a couple of things:

1. Supporting local organizations that build community: inclusive surfing, vulnerable populations, and more

2. Starting in May, a portion of every order will be going to .io who removes plastic from the waste stream before it enters our oceans

3. Banking - not many think about where their savings is being used for and odds are, if you use a major bank, your money is being used to finance the fossil fuel projects that are putting our future in peril. Our bank instead uses their power for good and finances solar projects in the US. On top of that, 10% of our banking interest goes to
