Martin offers both static (single plane) and dynamic (double plane) balancing. All stock sheaves are statically balanced to 6,500 FPM. Dynamic balancing should be considered for sheaves exceeding 6,500 FPM or used in equipment where vibration is a problem.

Closed impression die forging is where two dies containing the impression of the shape are brought together deforming the metal. Martin provides two types of closed impression die forgings: hammer forgings and press forgings.

With capacities up to 32,000 CFH, Martin's flat-bottom drag conveyors have been successfully used in applications with lengths greater than 600 feet. These drags are constructed with sturdy wear plates at the bottom and bolted covers.
