We are pleased to update you on the progress of our recent project in Cle Elum, WA. It's been just over a month since our initial update featuring the arrival of materials on the job site, and the dedicated owner-builder crew has demonstrated exceptional progress over the past six weeks. The distinctive barn-style home is now almost fully sealed, ensuring its preparedness for the upcoming winter weather.

We're thrilled to see the rapid progress of the post and beam style timber frame on our Cle Elum, WA project. Day by day, we are getting closer to flying SIPs and completing the exterior envelope of the structure.

We are incredibly thankful and lucky that this project is so close to home and that we can watch it progress throughout the construction process! Stay tuned for more updates as the Preflex Inc. SIPs start to fly and ultimately transform this timber frame skeleton into a forever home.

ITF is currently on-site in Cle Elum, WA, playing a crucial role in overseeing the timber installation of our Lookout Barn Home.

Shortly thereafter, a truck loaded with Preflex Inc. SIP Panels arrived on site. This strategic move ensures that once the timbers are securely in place, we can proceed with the home's framing in an efficient manner, creating a high-performance thermal enclosure.

Given the approaching winter weather in the Pacific Northwest, the streamlined assembly process is of upmost importance. Building from a kit will enable our clients to quickly establish their dream home's structural integrity before the inclement weather sets in. This, in turn, will grant them the opportunity to focus on indoor finishes in comfort, shielded from the elements.

We're thrilled to share some exciting news from our Owner Builder clients in western Idaho. They've started putting the finishing touches on the inside of their beautiful custom timber-framed home, and things are really taking shape!

The frame is in place, and the exterior finishes are complete. They're now adding those special details that will turn this place into a warm and inviting home. They're working diligently to make every corner unique and welcoming so it truly feels like their own little haven. It's an exciting journey, and we can't wait to see how it all comes together!

Our project in Hawthorne, Nevada, is progressing steadily!

The interior sheet rock installation is well underway, allowing the partition walls to take shape and contribute to the overall project coherence. On the exterior, the pre-finished Hardie board siding has been successfully installed, and the fascia and trim are now ready for paint.

Additionally, a recent shipment of Cedar soffit has arrived on site, enhancing the covered outdoor living space with a rustic charm. The owner-builder is making commendable progress, and we eagerly anticipate the completion of the final touches.

The finishing touches on this custom timber frame home in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, have come together flawlessly! Inspired by The Lookout design, our friends tweaked the traditional barn with living quarters plan to create a three-story custom home that's harmonious with the surrounding natural environment.

This project has been a fun one to watch progress. Primarily constructed by the family themselves, this home tells a story of unity and legacy. Every member of the family, including the children, has been hands-on, working together to craft a unique home that will stand the test of time, and can be passed on through the generations.

These clients found our Diamond Peak modern home intriguing but wanted to make some changes so that the house could look and function just how they desired. With the architectural design nearing completion, we are thrilled to get started on another large barn here in our local community of Estacada, Oregon!

Working with our friends at Wheeler Homes, we will be breaking ground on this project in the coming months and cannot wait to share the process with all of you.

Extreme Panel Technologies roof panels are flying in Cascade, Idaho!

12" of continuous closed-cell foam sandwiched between structural grade OSB provides unparalleled insulation and rigidity, especially when dealing with dramatic snow loads and frigid winter temps.

It's been a journey for our clients building in such a harsh climate through the winter months, but with the onset of spring weather, we can expect to see some significant progress in the coming weeks!

We are happy to see some updates from our friends in Hawthorne, Nevada! The shell is complete, and exterior finishes are underway.

James Hardie rustic series siding matched with a forest green standing seam metal roof will create a natural contrast with the cabin's high desert landscape.

On the interior, tongue & groove cedar siding is being prepped for installation. The natural wood tones of the siding will complement the exposed timber frame and create a warm, rustic, and natural ambiance throughout the home.

Gazing up into the cupola of a timber frame barn here in Estacada, Oregon.

Cupolas have been used in architecture for centuries and were originally designed to provide light and ventilation to buildings. The cupola in this barn serves as a decorative element on the exterior of the building. Originally designed to match the overall architectural style of the structure, the relatively small addition provides visual interest and character to the roofline.

It's always a thrill to see our client's ideas take shape throughout the architectural design process.

This unique 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom custom home is nearing the final stages of design for our clients in Molalla, Oregon. With just a few more adjustments, we'll be ready to cut the frame and get started on this one-of-a-kind timber frame home.
