2011 Casey Neistat called… electric longboards are BACK! just launched their new boards for pre-order and they are epic- trust us. We tried them out and everything with basically zero injuries (except for all the whiplash people on the streets got from watching us whip around, cruise style).
We were lucky enough to work on the branding for their awesome company and even awesomer board.

When creating a brand identity for the urban planning firm, Desire Path, we made sure our creative was rooted in the idea of pathways, overlapping communities, and engagement. The concept of a desire path is a route, often by people and communities, more desirable than paved pathways.
The custom wordmark (as well as the logomark and other graphic elements), not only gives subtle cues to the work they do, but also their name. Much like a desire path found in urban landscapes, their team is guided by their community and neighborhoods they engage with.
A brand that needed to feel tailor made, irreverent, and high-end with a bit of nostalgic grunge.
Defiant Board Society is a modern tribute to the unpolished counterculture era they originated from. Get out there and preserve your youth. 🤘🏼
Annnnd that’s a wrap for us over here at Rugged! Rounded out 2022 with a killer crew yesterday and got to break in our new(ish) studio a little more. Despite having no warning, all talent involved got a significant workout modeling for one of our healthcare clients. Including who will do anything for the shot.
We’ll be closed through the new year to give our squad a much deserved break so we can kick off 2023 with more creative juice!

For advertising creatives - holiday planning started a long time ago. A throwback to our holiday themed campaign shoot with Almond Cow showcasing the diversity of uses for their plant based milk machine. Our model was a good sport rocking a turtleneck in the thick of August 🥵

It’s live! Recently we developed a case studies page for Cameo for Business. The goal was to give inspiration to businesses who are interested in partnering with them for events or marketing. In return they allowed us to make our own cameos. They’re only $120 per video from a Rugged designer chosen at random! Get them while they’re hot!

Eyes on the road 👀Each element of 20/20 Onsite’s rebrand gave subtle winks to vision care. We leaned into a bright signature yellow to create a punchy brand identity.
What started with a naming exercise evolved into a branding project that elevated this women-owned investment firm. The final product was a clean, message-driven identity with a custom mark to match.
