Did you know that Zinc can help enhance the effects of your Botox treatment? Research has shown that Zinc plays a crucial role in helping botulinum toxin bind to tissue, potentially extending the effects of your injections by up to 30%.

For optimal results, it’s recommended to start taking Zinc supplements four days before your treatment. A suggested dose is two capsules daily—one in the morning and one in the evening. This helps regulate the levels of zinc and phytase in your body, maximizing the benefits of your treatment.

It’s generally considered safe to take up to 50 milligrams of Zinc for a short period, but always consult your doctor before starting any new supplement regimen. While these findings are based on recent studies, they haven’t been approved by the FDA, so it’s important to discuss any concerns with your primary care physician.
