Pretty iconic moment for us. Sending an og ysr decal and a sss keychain with the first official team calamari order to leave our building. Thanks for everyone’s patience, we paused the tcr/zumasrus website for the time being as it’s in major disrepair, and we’re hustling behind the scenes to get it sorted for everyone’s benefit.

Stopped by and picked up a ysr from and took a peek at his other clean builds. Love this thing! Thanks for the help with our future goals jay!

Well, I can’t hold the beans anymore. This weekend ScooterSwapShop not only got the opportunity to carry a legacy, but we also met some amazing people. Yesterday we met with Susan at team calamari racing, and signed the deed. We are now officially the owners of team calamari racing. If you don’t know the name, they were/are the top dogs for the ysr50 since the 80’s. So grateful to have the honor to bring these bikes and parts back to life. Huge thanks to Paul, Ronny Jon, Susan for putting the work in to make it happen. We’re headed back up to Oregon tomorrow with a trailer full of parts and tools. Please be patient with us on this as it’s a big task, but we’re made for this…. Also hit us up if you have any clean ysr’s cause we need a few :)

After two years of being in and out of contracts trying to buy a building for sss, sounds like we just landed one. Massive historical super unique building, two story grange hall with a massive upstairs that used to be used for square dancing. So humbled to finally own a place to run the business, not in Portland… Tons of work needed but it’s a blank canvas, it’s massive and has some really neat history/character.

Did you know that the arrow exhausts used to be $550 used when they were discontinued? We worked with arrow for over a year to bring these back, and purchased the first batch. Not only did we bring back the product, we also sold them for under $300 brand new. We had several home sellers furious that we “drove the prices down” but wanted to offer fair prices on the exhausts. I make fun of Paul every day I see him wearing a ski mask, and somehow in the process we found ourselves laughing uncontrollably on top of the shipping table trying to look like the cool kids. No regrets
