As our buildout continues, one ot the plans we are most excited about is the addition of 8 more dedicated loading bays. This will allow us to better accommodate your shipping needs by shipping more, faster and in greater volume.

We have officially started our expansion to 140,000 sqft. On Thursday, April 4th our partner came by to do core samples to measure the integrity of the concrete. This is to ensure that it has the structural integrity to support the weight of our equipment. Make sure to follow us for more updates and to watch our progress.

Trever started at Portland Bolt in the summer of ’92 as a parts feeder for the Roll Thread Operator. We are happy to see him grow into the position of Production Supervisor. Before taking on this leadership, he worked as the Cutting Department Leadman - overseeing testing and certification for roll and cut threading, fabrication and welding, heading, galvanizing, and maintenance.

The project aims to significantly enhance access to five key interstate highways and a major river crossing, paving the way for alleviating traffic congestion and presenting a balanced mix of transport options for our vibrant urban populace. 🚗🚦🛳

Key components of the forward-looking project plan include a comprehensive replacement of the 3,360-foot Arkansas River Bridge, critical improvements to bridges on I-30, and a strategic widening of I-30 in Little Rock to accommodate increasing traffic. 🌉🚧👷‍♀️

Portland Bolt was chosen to supply the Exxon Mobile Refinery in Billings, Montana, with over a ton of anchor bolts, studs, and custom square plates, in addition to the nuts and washers. The bolts ranged from ½”- 1 ¼” in diameter and reached up to 28” long. The order required all materials to be hot-dip galvanized, which we also do in our 94,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Portland, Oregon. We are only one of two manufacturers in North America to offer this coating.

Portland Bolt has made anchor bolts and construction fasteners for Disneyland projects in the past, including Grizzly River Run in Disney’s California Adventure. With 106 years of experience and our ability to make custom anchor bolts quickly, Portland Bolt was the easy choice for this project. The anchor rods varied in diameters from 5/8” through 3”, and each anchor bolt required custom square plates, which were embedded into the concrete for pullout resistance.
Because the site at Disneyland was top secret, Portland Bolt was required to contract with special freight carriers to ensure clearance for delivery at the job site.
