This is your friendly reminder to check in on those who are grieving.
A simple phone call or "How's it going?" text message can make a world of difference to someone's day. Those who are grieving can sometimes feel alone in their grief. It's important to let them know that you are there to support them, not only in the days after a death, but throughout the months and years in their grief journey.
“An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back, it means that it's going to launch you into something great. Just focus and keep aiming.”

The caterpillar dies so the butterfly could be born. And, yet, the caterpillar lives in the butterfly and they are but one. So, when I die, it will be that I have been transformed from the caterpillar of earth to the butterfly of the universe.

"See, now is a time for courage. I guess you already know that there are angels masquerading as people walking around this planet and your mom was the bravest one of those."

There is no time limit on grieving.
Well-meaning family and friends may
believe it's time for you to "feel better".
Be kind to yourself; honor your feelings,
first. Grieving is a process you must go
through. Trust your own intuition.
That's all you need to do today.
We've seen over and over in this profession that grief is a unique journey for every individual. Right now, we are seeing 'collective grief' as we grieve together across the world,. However, it's best to remember that we still all experience grief in unique ways. Grief is both something that can bring people together as a common experience, but also can be isolating and lonely.
This is a quote worth sharing by Becky Benson, "The problem with comparing grief is that by assigning our personal value system to someone else’s pain, we may undermine the validity of their grief." Read the full article here: https://modernloss.com/grief-theres-no-comparison/
For those who are grieving, know we are here for you and our hearts go out to you during this time.
Did you know there is an old saying: "When a cardinal appears in your yard, it's a visit from a loved one who has passed"?
Have you seen a cardinal in your yard lately? We hope it brings you some peace knowing your loved ones will always be with you.
HOURS fly
Flowers die.
New days,
New ways,
Pass by.
Love Stays

Time is
Too Slow for those who Wait,
Too Swift for those who Fear,
Too Long for those who Grieve,
Too Short for those who Rejoice;
But for those who Love,
Time is Not.
