A customer sent us a photo of their table they bought from Tropical Salvage. It’s build from Rengas wood - also known as Bornean blood wood. The heart wood appears to flow as lava might down of Java’s 21 active volcanoes.

Pam Dierickx and Jacquie Van Hoomissen are a mother-daughter force of pot-throwers. Their ceramics work beautifully complements Tropical Salvage furniture. They’ve been working together for years creating pottery with design themes that are strongly influenced by the forests and fields of the family farm where they live. They show their work on-line

Jacquie is a Professor of Biology and Associate Dean in the college of Arts and Sciences at the University of Portland.
