Enrolling in the Text alerts is SIMPLE! I signed up on June 29th and have received 3 alerts so far for Cumberland County (07/01/21, 07/05/21 and 07/21/21).

Maine first state to roll out text alerts when drug overdoses spike A pilot program started by the state will let anyone with a cellphone receive free text messages alerting them to an increase in overdoses in their area and the potential that a deadly batch of drugs is on the market.

Sign up to get text alerts if there is a "spike" in overdoses in your area. Believe I read, if there is more than 3 accidental drug poisonings in a 24 hour period in your subscribed location it will send out a text to alert you.

A Big, Huge, Shout-Out to our most amazing Admin Assistant, Beth Sanborn! Two years ago I was in a place that felt utterly soul-crushing. I honestly couldn't fathom how I was going to make it. Professionally, it felt like everything around me was crumbling. I was ready to say "I can't do it anymore", my heart was shattered and my trust in others destroyed. But I am not easy to give up, I can be quite stubborn. With my perseverance and determination I kept going and holy cow what do you know my prayers got answered.... Along came Beth! She has blown me away at her dedication, her smarts, her common sense, her willingness to jump into chaos and help weather any approaching storms! She has been an absolute blessing to me (and the team) and I couldn't have gotten thru those tough times without her!

She fits our team perfectly! She keeps us all on track and helps keep stress to a minimum! I am extremely grateful to have Beth as our assistant and I'm super excited, she should be starting her "apprenticeship" with us very soon 🤞🙏🤞
