This week we’re featuring everybody’s favorite barkeep Oliver Sullivan - . Oliver telecommutes to his shifts from his home in the mountains of Japan. Oliver suffers from a rare condition that renders him incapable of walking anywhere at a normal pace and also holds the record for the most W2s issued to a single person in a single year.
When he isn’t working Oliver passes the time ordering Thai food, practicing home barbershopery and counting the number of cracks in sidewalks. A perennial student, he is currently pursuing a masters in fishmongering and anticipates an eventual move to his own rescue farm for organic goldfish.
You can visit with Oliver every Monday and Tuesday at SHL - come enjoy one of his well poured draft beers and listen to tales of his travels to remote reaches of Arizona to hang with rock stars.

This week we’re introducing you to our own Matt Smith - .
Valedictorian of his class at Trump University, Matt is a devoted fan of black smithing and Amish barn raising and regularly competes in amateur tractor pulls. He is the proud owner of Maine’s largest collection of used yogurt lids and enjoys long walks around the Old Port with his pet caterpillar, Ezekiel.
Matt has traveled far and wide and currently holds the world record for bartending on every continent in a single weekend and is renowned for his innovative signature cocktail - a unique blend of exotic spirits he calls a “gin & tonic.” When he isn’t behind the bar, Matt can usually be found shopping for yarn or cuddled up at home binge watching the Elevator Channel.
Drop in on Wednesdays, Fridays or Saturdays to meet Matt and learn about his list of most offensive Foo Fighters songs.

We’ve decided to introduce you all to the members of our tremendous staff . We appreciate the time and effort they all bring to our team and they deserve some kudos here on our Instagram page.
First up is Jordan Solman - . Jordan was raised amongst the bears in darkest Peru and traveled to Portland on a freighter ship full of used banana skins. He is fluent in Ancient Greek and hieroglyphics and enjoys translating refrigerator owner’s manuals from their original Mandarin. Behind the bar his mixology prowess is best demonstrated by his mastery of the & soda. In his spare time he practices the oboe and has competed in four straight Olympic tryouts for the US dance fighting team. Despite his busy schedule, he is working diligently to complete his degree in basket weaving from the University of Phoenix (online, of course).
Stop by any Thursday, Friday or Saturday to visit Jordan and learn about his duck hiding skills first hand. Cheers to Jordan!
