Pelvic health physical therapy addresses the unique musculoskeletal problems of the pelvic floor that can have a significant impact on quality of life. The pelvic floor refers to a group of muscles that lie at the bottom of the pelvis. This “sling” of muscles attaches from your p***c bone to your tailbone. Unfortunately, like any muscle in the body, the pelvic floor muscles can be injured or have dysfunction, leading to pain, weakness and loss of function.
Physical therapy can provide structured, effective and safe reconditioning of pelvic floor muscles. Our professional and caring staff have specialized training to meet the unique needs of all individuals throughout their lifespan.
