This special show was dreamt up 5 years ago with the love of Fleetwood Mac and 4 dear friends who loved to sing music together with their favorite pals.

With a sparkle in our eyes and a deep love for Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac the tradition continues with a lineup of Portland all-stars paying tribute to the band and their music.

Feng E is a young musical sensation (born in 2007) from Taiwan. Feng went viral at the age of 10 for playing Tommy Emmanuel’s arrangement of Mason Williams Classical Gas at a park in Taipei, later playing live with Tommy himself in both Taiwan and Hong Kong.

Feng E has become a star in the world of ukulele music, performing and winning competitions in places like Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, China, and Hawaii. On Asia’s Got Talent (2017), he was the only competitor to get the Golden Buzzer from producer David Foster. To date, Feng E has mastered five musical instruments, starting with the piano at the age of four. He also has numerous compositions to his name.

LEATHER AND LACE: A Tribute to all things Fleetwood and Stevie | September 13 - 15 | 8pm⁠ (5pm Sunday)

We're kicking off the fall season by getting intimate with one of the world's most beloved bands! Portland legends and international sensations PINK MARTINI will be joining at the Alberta Rose Theatre on September 12th to celebrate their 30-year career. They'll reflect on three decades of traveling the globe, playing their signature genre-defying music to sold out crowds everywhere from the Hollywood Bowl to the Sydney Opera House, before serenading our audience with a few of their greatest hits.

Then, we'll be turning our cultural junk food into an intellectual feast with the Pulitzer Prize-winning New Yorker writer and television critic EMILY NUSSBAUM. Her new book Cue the Sun!: The Invention of Reality TV, traces the origin, evolution, and impact of America’s most influential (and most divisive) artistic phenomenon. (As if that weren't enough, Emily, was also the original creator of New York magazine's "Approval Matrix"... earning her a spot in our personal "highbrow/brilliant" quadrant.)

Stand-up comedian SEAN JORDAN (who co-host the wildly popular All Fantasy Everything podcast with Ian Karmel) will give us a taste of his first full length stand up special, "Girl Dad," detailing his journey as a father, from IVF to vasectomy and everything in between. Paste Magazine calls the special "both genuine *and* genuinely hilarious." These are some dad jokes we can really get behind and will be well worth the cost of a babysitter.

Vienna Teng returns to the Pacific Northwest with two very special shows featuring her fellow members of the genre-crossing chamber group Founders.

Featuring virtuoso trumpeter and composer Brandon Ridenour (Canadian Brass, Julliard faculty); acclaimed violinist, vocalist and composer Ben Russell (Max Richter, American Contemporary Music Ensemble); Grammy-winning saxophonist and composer Andrew Gutauskas (Brass Against, Matrix Resurrections); and renowned world and classical percussionist Yousif Sheronick (Yo-Yo Ma, Branford Marsalis), as well as Vienna’s piano and vocals, the ensemble will perform adventurous new arrangements of Vienna’s music as well as other selections from Founders wide-ranging repertoire.

Singer/songwriter/guitarist extraordinaire Jonatha Brooke brings a rich musical history of evocative folk, melodic pop, and an edgier roots rock sensibility. She has co-written and produced songs with the likes of Katy Perry, The Courtyard Hounds, and Jessica Simpson. Her extensive resume includes writing for Disney films, TV shows, and composing the theme song for Joss Whedon's, “Dollhouse,” to name a few.

She was also the recipient of a McKnight Artist Fellowship Grant in 2018, won the 2019 International Acoustic Music Award for Best Female Artist for “Put the Gun Down,” and was the competition’s overall grand prize winner. In 2020, she was awarded an Independent Music Award (IMA) for her EP, “Imposter.”

Brooke is currently writing songs for her own next album, as well as gearing up for live concert dates with her band.

Debashish Bhattacharya is an undisputed master of the demanding technique and discipline of both Hindustani classical music and modern world fusion. His large body of work has garnered extensive recognition, including two Grammy nominations, the Billboard top 10, Songlines Magazine top 10, Central Asia and Asia pacific world music top 10, 2007 BBC Planet Award, and many, many more accolades.

A prolific composer, Debashish has created thousands of compositions based on over 40 ragas, which he plans to archive for future generations of slide guitarists across the globe. These compositions provide a rich vein of material for his many students from both East and West. He is a devoted teacher with hundreds of students from around the world.
