Ways to keep your relationship fresh?

We like to go hiking together. Spending time in nature gives us a different kind of alone time. We are up walking and breathing in the fresh air together. We talk at length and re-tell past stories or reveal new one. Going deeper at times exposing deeper parts of our selves. Being truley vulnerable has never been easy for me. I’m not going to write a victim story about why. I’m just constantly pushing myself to be more open, more spontaneous and say thoughts that I would usually keep to myself. Putting a stop to thoughts concerning what others may think. Having a partner you can truly open up to and be you is priceless. I’ll always have your back baby ❤️💪🏽

I have tried literally everything. Drinking enough, water, eating, fiber, supplements, probiotics, and even at times Hydro colon therapy.

This is something that runs in my family. My mother only has a bowel movement every 3 to 4 days due to a longer colon then most she was explained to by her doctor.

I have always been fascinated with peptides, especially for skin, hair and nails, but recently I tried a peptide that has changed my gut biome internally, hopefully for good.

Peptides are short strings of amino acid strung together to perform a certain function in the body. I have taken the time lately to educate myself which led me to the benefits of a peptide called BPC -157.

You can tell by the picture above it’s been working. Im so much more regular which has led to a flat stomach.

I’ve also lost a few pounds, so that is helping too but if you look back scrollback through my feed, you’ll see some of my photos where I look bloated even in bikini competitions.

I’m just so happy I wanted to share it with you.

I will always continue and strive to improve my health at every age.

We only live once, and I want to feel good while I’m living it.

Consult first with your medical professional it has been in use for quite some time.

This is age 65! One of the most important things I’ve learned as I age is not to judge my body too harshly. Your skin loses its elasticity and doesn’t bounce back as quickly. We can do everything possible collagen exercise, the right supplements, staying hydrated and building muscle. And yes these all help tremendously but we are still going to age. I’m just grateful to be here still to be in love to be happy and healthy, and to be wearing a leopard bikini!

As women age, they often experience a loss of flexibility in the lower back. This can have a significant impact on our overall mobility and quality of life. Research has shown that bone loss, which is more common in women, can contribute to the tightening of the lower back muscles. This tightening can lead to stiffness and discomfort, making it harder for us to move freely.

I started noticing a lot more restriction and stiffness in the lower back a few years ago.
This can impact how we build muscle because the body can’t move through a full range of motion with restrictions or faulty movement patterns.

Using myself as an example I struggle with tight hip flexors which shortens the extension in my glute area which makes it harder to gain a full round B***y.

The constriction of movement in the lower back can have a cascading effect on the rest of our bodies. When our range of motion is limited, it becomes challenging to perform everyday tasks and engage in physical activities we once enjoyed. Something as simple as bending down to tie our shoelaces or reaching for an item on a high shelf can become a struggle.

Loss of flexibility in the lower back also has implications for our overall posture. When the muscles in this area become tighter, our spine may not be properly aligned, leading to slouched posture or even chronic back pain. As we all know, maintaining good posture is crucial for our overall health and well-being.

Dawns goal was to lose weight, gain strength and muscle.

I’m so proud of her and all her hard work!

She’s not stopping here but now feels like she’s developed some good habits and solid lifestyle changes to keep her moving forward building muscle!

She hung in there there through some tough moments when results weren’t happening fast enough and people can easily throw in the towel.

Getting results is a patience and a consistence game.

Physique Update:

12 weeks out from my photoshoot and my 65th birthday in late July!

146lbs

Today is the first day of a program I started with ❤️

Even trainers need trainers to help keep them focused and accountable!

Goal is to get body fat down to a shredded look 10-12% for a photoshoot I have in 12 weeks. I’ll be happy to come in at 15 to 16% which is the lowest I’ve ever been.

I cannot be more proud of my husband ❤️ for sharing his cancer journey and the amazing unconventional healing that happened because he dared to follow a dream.

A big swim adventure that at the time unknowingly included cold water therapy that ended up being a major contributor to saving his life.
