✨ 2024 NNACoE Blanketing Ceremony ✨

Last week, we held the 2024 NNACoE Blanketing Ceremony at the Ecotrust Events Irving Street Studio. It was an immense honor to celebrate and blanket the AI/AN medical students graduating from OHSU this year, alongside the graduating scholars of the sixth cohort of the Wy’east Medicine Post-Baccalaureate Pathway!

It fills us with much gratitude to see so many friends, family, and loved ones come together to uplift these graduates and their achievements. On behalf of NNACoE, and our partners at OHSU, UC Davis, and WSU, we would like to thank everyone who joined us in person, virtually, or in spirit. We are humbled by your support.

Huwighurruk is a partnership between UC Davis School of Medicine and Cal Poly Humboldt. This Postbacc program is designed to empower aspiring physicians with a focus on serving American Indian and Alaska Native communities.

Based at Cal Poly Humboldt, Huwighurruk is entirely free, with full coverage of tuition and housing expenses. Students will also receive a living stipend for the duration of the program.
