My work is hard most days… it takes dedication and focus, plus real care. Working with people like this everyday makes it worth it.

Cheers to Ashley for organizing, Kate for designing the shirts, our entire wood shop (represent!) and Matt Day (team cheerleader) - commitment to your craft, this work and ushering in the next gen of artisans is a days work worth remembering. Memorialized here in a few epically good pics from Bayside Bowl!

In the real estate domain, it’s a widespread practice for sellers to address both significant and minor home improvement issues before listing their home. Such enhancements are often recommended to boost the chances of securing a higher sales price.

Whether you’re aiming to enhance your home’s “curb appeal” by giving your front door a fresh coat of paint or embarking on a more substantial project, Hay Runner is your go-to partner!

Though “The Granite State” is just down the road, Maine also boasts a rich quarrying history. Specifically, Vinalhaven, a small island off the coast of Camden known for the removal and shipment of the columns for the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City at the turn of the 20th century.

While the picture before you showcases some fine stonework for one of our clients, we are truly humbled by those who came before us in this great state.

Who doesn't appreciate a before-and-after transformation?

Here's a glimpse of one of our recent projects in Portland. While the details of the work speak for themselves, we're especially thrilled about the custom metal and wood gate crafted by our team at our Rockport shop. Meet Craig Forbes, Lead Carpenter (Portland). 🔨

With a lifelong dedication to carpentry, Craig embodies the essence of “why” he engages in his daily work. A devoted student of his craft, Craig consistently emphasizes the significance of constructing with a focus on quality to our team, and certainly leads by example!

One of his favorite quotes is from Audels Carpenters and Builders Guide, 1923: “When we build, let us think that we build forever. Let it not be for present delight nor for present use alone. Let it be such work as our descendants will thank us for; and let us think, as we lay stone on stone, that a time is to come when those stones will be held sacred because our hands have touched them, and that men will say, as they look upon the labor and wrought substance of them, “See! This our father did for us.” -John Ruskin

Thank you, Craig for your commitment to the craft and for bringing your positive attitude to the job site everyday.
