I had a dental procedure today with Dr Travis Agee It was quite a bit of time sitting in the chair with his hands and tools in my mouth. ⁣⚙️🦷

I”m pretty good at meditation and keeping myself calm and in my body, but a few times during the procedure, I could feel my tension and shallow breathing... ⁣

When that would happen, I’d remind myself that Dr Agee is a good guy, a great dentist, and that he had my best interests at heart. ⁣

That was enough to create connection in my nervous system and to re-engage safety. ⁣
⁣
Form solid relationships; it can be so soothing to your up regulated nervous system. 🥰⁣
