It’s your hair... Feel good about it.

Back in the mid-80’s I was young, living on the east coast, and making gobs of money. Eventually I found myself, this young kid from Oregon in my Levi’s and Keds, in one of the fanciest salons in Boston ready to get an awesome new do. They even had shampoo girls and everything! I came out looking and feeling great... until the next morning when I tried to style my own hair. They had given me a great cut and sold me some expensive new product, but I had no idea how to recreate the look at home, and there was no way I felt comfortable calling that chi chi shop to ask for styling advice. I’ll admit there were tears.

Twenty years later it was me behind the chair with my own salon, but the trauma of that particular haircut stayed with me. I created Odango! Hair Studio to be a place where you can feel comfortable. We aren’t fancy, we don’t sell you product you don’t need, and we won’t scold you if you’ve done something at home you shouldn’t have. You’ll still leave with awesome hair, but we know that the best cut is one that you can live with day in and day out, and we’ll make sure you know how to take care of it.
