Couldn’t find a booth operator for last night’s PCC Scholarship Reception so I did both the booth and event shooting and it worked out great! Lots of running around but got all the shots and had a great time with an amazing group of people!

Last weekend we went up to Friday Harbor Labs in the San Juans to visit my sister “at work” It is so beautiful up in the islands. It’s good it is such a pain in the butt to get on and off the island using to ferries. Keeps the summer crowds down. Can’t wait to go back next year.

Happy Mothers Day to this amazing lady, my mom, Sue Cook. It has been almost 3 years since your passing and I can say no one had more influence in showing me how to be a good human being. Her love, patience and belief in me, even when I wasn’t my best inspires me every day to be the best person I can be. Her gift became a part of me and if you like me, you should love her because there is no me without all the input from her. Hug your mom. My wife is one of those kind of moms too to her kids. Didn’t think I would see another one of those people in my lifetime but luckily I did. I love you Inga Cook.

Now that it’s over, I can share that I had the honor of photographing Dr. Jill Biden today in Portland! I can’t share the images but let me tell you it was wonderful and electric! She is a wonderful human being.

Today is a huge day in my career! During today’s gig I took my one millionth photo/video. I only had to shoot 547 frames today to get there. I’m at 600 something. The reflection on my 13 year career has been on my mind a lot lately as I have been getting older. If you have been by my side shooting or in front of my lens, thank you for a great 13 years! Thank you to Regence for being my client during this milestone day. Your partnership over the years has meant the world to me

I love days like this. I have 20’minutes to do two interview videos and two photo shoots solo. I’ve spend about 6 hours prepping for those twenty minutes. I have my gear set for the quick switch. Game time baby!!

Throwback to the era of the interactive green screen photo booths we used to create at Phototainment! I miss those creative Photo Booth projects. We could put you anywhere!

My little drone buddy took a tumble on Friday. He was scheduled for surgery today. So far it’s going well.
