We are proud to announce that we will co-develop a 14 story, 230 unit building offering affordable units, wrap-around services including childhood development and health care, and beautiful green spaces for all to enjoy.

Urban League of Portland CEO & President Nkenge Harmon Johnson said the approval of the project marks a major historical moment for our organization and the city of Portland.

“We co-developed this project by asking ‘what does our community need, and how will we facilitate it?’ Considering the size and scope of this development, we are using our nearly 80 years of investing in this city to keep the development focused on serving our community.

“I am convinced the Broadway Corridor will be a major catalyst to improve historically underserved neighborhoods. And I am pleased the City of Portland recognizes Urban League’s ability to transform lives through our unique blend of wraparound services and advocacy while improving our community, block by block, from the ground up.”
