“This is such a lovely "local" Oregon story -- told by local playwrights. Even though it's a work of fiction, it nicely captures the best in all of us here in this area. It's a small town story, a community story. In that regard it scoops us in and we feel seen. Thank you!”

HOMOS! A Solo Disaster Musical, bitch is exactly what it sounds like. Q***r. Musical. Solo. And a disaster. The solo homo in question is Dan Kitrosser who wants nothing more than to put on his 6 person GAF apocalyptic musical, which features a rag-tag group of queerdos racing from hellfire; there’s a Norma Desmondesque-faded movie starlet, her closeted action star ex husband, his T***k, a couple of le****ns and a sexually ambiguous stoner boy at the center of it all. But as our world is actually on the brink of collapse, and Dan is literally running out of time, he’s just gonna roll up his sleeves and do it ALL himself. Come see the New York premiere of this side-splitting tour de-farce that won Best Cabaret at the 2023 Philadelphia Fringe Festival. Directed by Kyle Metzger.
"THE EVENT! taps into our collective longing for human connection. Staged in a circle of armchairs, sofas, beach chairs, and tables, the show invites the audience to actively participate — you might be handed a prop, asked to read a line, or even invited to a dance. For those wary of audience participation, more traditional seating is available, but embracing the interactive experience is where the magic happens. After all, this is a play about building community. So, why not jump in and be part of it?"

“The Event! was hilarious and entertaining and delightfully unexpected. I loved the way the immersive and interactive moments were weaved into the show. Even though there is not a bad seat in the house, I loved the upper area with the tall chairs, you really are part of the show. Can’t wait to see it again!”
