A light-hearted, food and community focused event that showcases heirloom produce, local meats and sustainable seafood. Through this event, the hope is to educate attendees on the importance of food sourcing while connecting straight to the farmers, chefs and local food folk.

Hackmatack Farm Bison with mushroom risotto, fiddleheads and bordelaise.
Hackmatack Farm, in Berwick, has been a longtime food source for Black Trumpet. Throughout various menu changes, we often utilize their pasture raised, heritage breed Mangalitsa pig, and their bison. This family farm cares about the products they provide and care for their animals in the best way possible.
Additionally, the “Jig Cheese” dish on our menu includes invasive Japanese Knotweed foraged from their farm. The intentional use + removal of this prolific plant helps create space for native plants to grow!

Tuckaway Lamb Empanadas with rhubarb chutney and asparagus curls •
This dish almost exclusively incorporates ingredients including the lamb, cornmeal and asparagus from our longtime friends at Tuckaway Farm in Lee. Tuckaway lost three buildings, including their barn, to a devastating fire in March. For years, Tuckaway Farm has provided their bounty in many forms to our restaurant.
In order to contribute to the Tuckaway restoration effort and support a piece of our community during a time of adversity, we will be donating the proceeds of each dish sold.
