The Schuylkill County courthouse will be washed in the color purple for the entire month of September in recognition of National Recovery Month and Su***de Prevention Awareness Month. This is just one example of the many things we do to raise awareness and to get people talking about these incredibly important community issues. This year our slogan is...Shine a light on life: Prevent Su***de, Embrace Recovery. Remember, no one can do everything, but everyone can do something and together we can change the world.

Check in on those that you love. Let them know you are there. They are important. They matter. They are enough. Nobody is better off without them. Also, remember to take care of yourself. It is not selfish, it is necessary.

We can ALL help prevent su***de.

Help is Available. Treatment Works. Recovery is Possible.
