This is the love story that moves me, the ones you don’t forget.
Kim and Luis met as little kids and didn’t get together until much later. After many years of courting, they were married and now have a child. I’m so honored that Kim’s cousin Amanda has also entrusted me and my team to take care of her on her upcoming April wedding. Enjoy this look back at an amazing day. ♥️

Pretty much every winter I need to celebrate these two! Amazing guys that I still follow and love to see how they continue to embrace their lives together! Absolutely as it should be. Also, this was a day so frigid, frozen river, and frozen fingers and toes! Still, I’m so very grateful for their bravery in heading outside with us! Love you guys still! ♥️

The weather has been yucky, at least here and thinking, in the mood for something to watch. Well, you are all in luck! These are some photos that we did a while ago for a series of comedy shows that are now on Amazon. Today we are highlighting Tommy Tiernan. If you don’t know his work and his act, please check it out. I’ve put the link for the shows in the bio.

I’m often asked what it’s like photographing weddings for more than 20 years. Being able to capture these moments of pure joy, I feel like I’ve been given a gift. Not just being able to capture those moments, but to be around that kind of love. It is the best ♥️

With this chilly weather, I thought it was appropriate to reshare this incredible day. It was actually an April wedding! Our weather has been funny for a while!
This was quite special as they both were eager to go outside for these! Thank you to Paige and Rob ♥️

What does it take to be bold, empowered, confident and courageous? I’m not sure but young people today have to be all of that. Thank you to Sam for sharing his afternoon with me. Inspired is how I feel after walking around the Poughkeepsie train station together ☀️

We all want our children to be happy, healthy and well adjusted. We work to inspire and empower them, so that they can make an impact on the world. Getting to photograph this young 21 year-old, my faith has been restored in a future where we embrace each other without judgement. Truly a remarkable afternoon session. I will post some more but this one says everything ♥️

What you see here, it is the reason for celebration. The next generation. As we teach them, cousins, siblings, how to get along and be together, an example is set by the older generation. That is the reason to get together and do something like a portrait. It’s fun, it’s for family, it is for always. To have Ava and Lucas, the oldest grandchildren, sit in the chairs that their parents sat in as kids was really a moment. Thank you so much to Tim and Sue for having me in their home to photograph them and their children and grandchildren. And for Caitlin for asking me. I love our yearly sessions! AMAZING!! so this past Saturday we had an opportunity to head to Rockefeller Center for a proposal. Domenic had been in touch with me through multiple text messages and a phone call, having been referred by his cousin Chris. We photographed Chris and Shannon’s wedding last year. I scouted out the location where he was going to make his proposal and sent photos circling where he should be and where Michelle should be standing when he went down on one knee . The only thing we did not plan on was the fact that Domenic does not skate!!!
So there we are waiting and watching for them to get onto the ice and then we see them!!! I’m not sure about posting all the photos of him along the wall, and poor Michelle’s expression as she watched him try to come away from the wall! But it was very clear that he didn’t skate, at all.
So, they finally made it close to the spot we chose for him to propose and he couldn’t move away from the wall! We were so very lucky that we were able to get some clear shots! At first she really thought he’d fallen on the ice and she had no idea he was going to propose! The look of shock on her face was so beautiful and the joy after was indescribable. We wandered around and took some photos by St Patrick’s cathedral and then upon going back to the tree, we were told that the area was closed off. Speaking with a kind security guard he gave us permission to go in and the bulk of visitors were behind the barricade! After we attempted to get even closer to the tree, and fortunately had the same person allow us entry!!!! We had the space to ourselves. And then he took us, as a gift from him, since they just got engaged on the ice, directly to the tree itself!! So there we were, walked through the people behind the barricades to the quiet of the majestic tree at Rockefeller Center ♥️♥️ Christmas magic ☀️ 🎄

Working with Brian and Madelaine since 2017 has been simply brilliant. Their energy comes through in every session. I so appreciate the fact that this family comes to me every year! I will forever work as a photographer and this is one of the reason ♥️ family
