Important mantra for always, and especially in these pandemic years of not reaching for the things that used to be our sunshine and happiness. This mantra is basically Pratipaksha bhavana, “cultivate the opposite”. Cultivate the positive, the goodness, the light, the love, the whatever u need to feel well and content. Be it. Sevan’s first Thanksgiving ever!! And we were fortunate to have dear Brucey over to celebrate with us.

Thanksgiving eve at the Estatic Dance Party at the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock with some of my all time favs!!! Felt oh sooooo good for all of us to let loose and dance together with humans for the FIRST time in yearrrs!!!

Samhain ceremony honoring the witches of the burning times, the wise women, Mother Earth women, nature living, healing women that were tortured and killed….at this beautiful popsicle mum park in saugerties with a lovely women’s circle. Sevan and I dressed up as aliens. An alien has always felt like a relatable quality 👻

Who needs backbends? Supported Backbends each class these days at our outdoor community yoga class!
Also focusing on various slow flows, graceful movements, balance and inversions. Class is on the stage at James Baird Park. Thursdays 10:30am-11:45am for as long as it's warm enough. Club house rd Poughkeepsie. Or exit 48 of Taconic Stare Parkway. It's an all levels class and very beginner friendly.

Cost $15 per class
$10 for students, or if you refer a new friend.
FREE for you if you bring 2 new friends.

If u can't join there I also teach a Sunday morning zoom yoga class. It's all levels. Lots of restorative postures with a calm pace. 9:30-10:45am. $15 or $10 students.

After like 2 years finally got to see play again! Oh how I’ve missed his shows around here! Very happy for him and his recent success this year getting onto The Voice (nearly winning 😉), recording a song with Blake Shelton, and having maybe millions of people hearing him sing and learning his soulful music. His music is deeply touching, getting to that existential part of us that we all share. Keep in carrying on and writing those beautiful songs dear one! Ian is an amazing local NY example of so what you love and see the awesome places it can take you. And thanks to my dearest Holly for joining me and getting together after so long!

Relaxing paddle boarding and kayaking with my yoga student Kerri! After 2 years of being invited to Chelsea Yaht Club, I finally went! The sunshine, water n good company is the perfect recipe for me these days!

I’m not much of a braider, but I did pretty well with this Mohawk Viking hair! Thank u to my dear friend Scott for helping me with some things around the house! This is the least I could do 🤓

I started some large scale art therapy/emotional release art in Scotland. My last day there I was feeling all that the 7 months in Scotland gifted me. I felt I was leaving with so much, grateful for so much. 🙏💜See what u can see here!

A few last moments in Scotland. On the plane home I cried for how much Scotland and the beautiful souls I have met and befriended, the culture and land gave me. Thank you Universe for all the gifts in these quiet moments. I hope to cherish them and keep them with me.

Garden art sculptures where I had my going away party in Forres, Scotland. I got to walk in this park and it’s woods several times a week during my stay in Forres.
Our party was so full of love, celebration and bliss. I deeply thank all the people that have touched me in forever ways. So many people have said Scotland is magical. And I get it.

I didn’t get to do my big garden back in NY this year. But at least I got to grow a few kale plants and some herbs. Here’s my mini Scottish garden in the flat in Forres that I just picked all the kale from. The kale was heavenly satvic!

After 7 months of living in the UK I’m down to my last week! Celebrating tonight with many of the beautiful souls I have met while living here. Having a going away party in the park. I’ve really appreciated the friendliness of this culture. I have found the people to be very connecting, intelligent, solution oriented, kind and helpful! Those are all things that are very important to me and that I value very much. I hope to take these qualities into my being and surround myself more with beings who share these values in the US. Change has been occurring in me a lot in this time and I know there will be many changes when I return to NY. Tonight I cheers to my Scotland friends!

Second wild camping trip in Scotland. This time to Sutherland, near Golspie in the NE of the highlands. Again camped right on the sea. Watched the tide go out and come in. Found this piece of art on the tree! What an idea lol
