We're proud to announce the publication of the Vassar College Journal of Philosophy's second edition. You can find the journal, which features papers, books reviews, and an interview with philosopher Mauro Carbone, all exploring the non-human, on the department website alongside last year's issue.
The Journal is a product of the Majors' Committee under the supervision of faculty advisor and department chair Giovanna Borradori. We encourage anyone interested in its production to watch this page next year for more information about getting involved.
The Philosopher's Tea will take place today from 3:00pm-5:00pm in the Rose Parlor, and all are welcome to attend! There will be food, drink, and an abundance of interesting conversation. Meet other philosophy students; talk to professors about their interests; learn about the major. It'll be a great time, and we hope to see you there!
