celebrating 16 years of eb today 8/20 heading back from Nantucket wearing a brand that I bought at my first market in nyc. I remember the owner Pauline helping me a write a tight order with small quantities to insure my success with the brand. The pants I’m wearing are a few years old + are still a staple in my closet. To be honest, many of my faves are lilla p styles dating back years. Timeless + high quality wardrobe staples.

One of the most important things I have been focusing on lately is quality over quantity + clothing backed by fit. Purchasing styles + fabrications that are going to stand the test of time like lilla p has for me. It’s those pieces that help build a strong foundation in your closet.

My persistence + focus was very clear from the start of my shop- I would never give up, I would pivot when needed (which is essential to any small businesses success), I would stay true to myself, do my best to reflect on what was working or not + show up every day whether I was knocked down or felt unsuccessful (which happens all the time).

Owning your own business is always hard work, but knowing that I have created a community of women who adore the store + the brand, have showed up for staff members + have invested themselves in the success of my stores is something I would never take for granted. Not only do I have a passion for clothing + fashion, but a passion for small businesses everywhere because I know how hard it is to show up even in the tough times.

My goal in the next year + for Spring 2025 is staying true to myself + my style and bringing you timeless pieces that will stand the test of time in your wardrobe. My short getaway has brought me inspiration for my shop + my spring 2025 collection and a reminder to remember to take breaks + time away to allow creativity in. we love a mom/daughter shopping day at eb!
