Cove Creek Polyface Farm
A homestead nestled in The Ozarks ran by a bowyer & his metro girl turned farmer in the polyface farm style. We teach at the occasional homestead event.
We raise eggs, chicken, rabbits and the occasional duck.
Love the visits I get to take to this place. Not too far from where we live. It's nice

Black pumpkins are just like other varieties, except for their distinct color. Some of the most common black pumpkin species are called Black Futsu and Black Kat. One of the best aspects of pumpkins is that they can grow pretty much anywhere as long as they're given what they need to thrive!
Lettuce is a leafy vegetable in the daisy family, Lactuca sativa. It is a popular ingredient in salads, but can also be used in soups, sandwiches, and wraps. Lettuce can range in color from yellow to dark green, and may also have reddish hues. The word "lettuce" likely comes from the Old French word laitues, which is the plural of laitue, meaning "milky". The Latin root word lac ("milk") appears in the Latin name lactuca. How it went from " milky" to the greens we know now I haven't the biggest.

Turnips are a colorful additive to the fall & winter diets! They come in red, white, golden and purple topped! The greens can be eaten like spinach and the root vegetable can be fries, boiled, baked, broiled or even .eaten raw
There is always a Warty yellow pumpkin out there to give you not just color but that texture content to that display!
