Grab some coffee, a few mugs, Jo’s house-made granola, @mapscoffeekc chocolate, and start romanticizing those early hours. We highly suggest your routine include a special yogurt parfait topped with Jo’s granola and some chocolate shavings…because, why not? At @mapscoffeekc, they source their beans globally, but roast locally. Because they roast locally, their coffee is always super fresh which makes a huge difference in the coffee served here at Caffetteria (as well as their bagged coffee in our Marketplace)! Their chocolate is also hand-made in house. Vincent, owner and founder of Maps, started making chocolate after a customer walked in his store and pointed out that he could roast cacao on his Loring machine. After lots of research and a realization that at the time, no one else was making handcrafted chocolate in Kansas City, Maps chocolate was born! Fun fact: The coffee we are serving here at Caffetteria is one of their most popular roasts!

Several years ago our founder, @jomariescaglia, had an extra bag of cranberries in the fridge leftover from Thanksgiving. We hate to throw things away so we made a little homemade cranberry juice and found it to be delicious and very nutritious. After the recipe was developed and we drank several batches of it, the Chiefs entered the Super Bowl for the first time in many years, and it was renamed Chiefs Nectar. Our Super Bowl cocktail is the Chiefs Nectar made of fresh cranberries, simmered with ginger and honey, lemon vodka, lime, juice, lemon juice, vanilla simple syrup, and a black pepper & rosemary simple syrup. It’s tart, sweet, with a hint of spice. Now available in the marketplace. We hope you enjoy it. Let’s do this @chiefs ❤️💛
