The REDC is pleased to announce that we have been awarded the prestigious ARIZONA@WORK Yavapai County 2023-2024 Workforce Director Annual Award by the Yavapai County One Stop Operator, Northern Arizona Council of Governments (NACOG)! 🏆
This award recognizes leaders who embody true dedication and vision in Yavapai County and northern Arizona. Vincent Redgrave and Karen Jones have demonstrated outstanding leadership, making a significant impact on the community by helping countless individuals and businesses thrive. Their ability to identify emerging trends and unite key resources has made a lasting difference in workforce development.
The REDC is incredibly proud of their contributions and the positive influence they’ve had on the organization's work and success. Congratulations to Vincent and Karen! 🎉

🎉 This weekend, Yavapai College Allied Health held our first Phlebotomy for Law Enforcement Officers training, and refresher courses at our Prescott Valley Center. YC Health Sciences worked with local law enforcement agencies to create a tailored program, and with the support of the REDC to ensure easy course access. All enrolled officers successfully completed their program requirements. A big congratulations to our 13 officers - 6 Refresher Officers and 7 Initial Officers. 👏
Prior to us offering this service, LEOs had to inconveniently travel to Phoenix or elsewhere in order to get this certification.
