New Rings!!! Ken has been busy! We got some antique spoons in from Scotland that he made into lovely rings. These have Scottish Thistle on them.

Then he made a great thumb ring or for someone that wants a larger size.

The ring he made with the cross says in Latin "In hoc signo vinces" roughly meaning In the sign of the cross thou shalt conquer. It’s a great ring to remind you that you can get through the hard times you are facing.

The one with the special scarab has special meaning also. A scarab was a symbol rebirth, resurrection, transformation, change, and growth. Cool ring from a cool antique spoon.

It’s Cheese Curd Festival this week!!!

Ellsworth’s Cheese Curd Festival celebrates the town’s designation as the Cheese Curd Capital of Wisconsin.

Friday, June 21 from 4pm-7 for Artisans and 10pm for music and other fun.

Located within Ellsworth’s East End, the festival has free admission, free parking, and free shuttles!

This is a great festival with amazing vendors, cheese curds, music, and EVERYTHING!!!

Wear your stretchy pants to fully enjoy the wide variety of creative cheese curd dishes, fresh hand-battered, deep-fried cheese curds, and an exclusive top-secret dessert curd that rivals the mini donut!

Take part in several tasting experiences: cheese, cheese curds, craft beer, wine, hard ciders, milk & cookies, and real dairy ice cream.

When you’ve had your fill of food, sit back and enjoy an eclectic mix of music. A variety of acts, ranging from solo vocal artists and blues and folk acts, perform throughout the festival. New European and Scandinavian Ribbon Bracelets. All handmade by Jill! We have been to 22 countries and brought home so many treasures, including some ribbon I’ve been saving to make something special with. As you see in my photo collage of clothing, ribbon is still used every day in fabulous designs.

My bracelets are soft and adjustable. Most are reversible so you get two different patterns to wear. Some fasten with antique buttons and others with clasps.

Some of this ribbon we bought in clothing design stores, and others were found in antique stores, in sewing boxes.

Wear a soft, beautiful, and historic ribbon bracelet. We love them!

We have travelled the world and met such great people from Arizona to Scotland to Czech Republic and farther. Thanks for becoming our friends, and following what we make.

Give mom flowers and lovely greens she can keep forever! We have a whole new “crop” of violets, daffodils, and Belleek shamrocks.

We have become friends with a couple that own an antique store in Finland. They call and let us know when they find special silverware or dishes. We got another package today. How exciting!!!! And Ken went right to work on them, making lovely rings!

We will be in Isanti at the Erickson Farmstead on Friday and Saturday. We have many new items just in time for Mothers Day. 🥰

Hudson Hot Air Affair at the
E.P. Rock School. Address is 340 13th Street, Hudson WI. There will be a marketplace craft sale as well as over 30 hot air balloons. There will be hot food and drinks in the cafeteria.

This 35th annual balloon rally and winter festival has a theme of "Rockin' with the Coldies" so put on your dance shoes (or boots) and come rock out at the Hudson Hot Air Affair. About 30 balloonists from five states will travel to Hudson to share the spectacle and excitement of the sport of hot air ballooning.

Check out these new necklaces made out of antique china dish back stamps. I made 12 of these so far and each necklace is truly one-of-a-kind, like all our work. A back stamp is the makers mark on the reverse side of the cup or plate, identifying that china as uniquely made.

You and your loved ones are equally unique and special. ❤️!!! These pieces would speak that love and affirmation every day.

We were busy this weekend making new pieces that I love. Oh… and more new ones our workbench!!! I will post more soon.
