(August 30, 2024) – In observance of Labor Day on Monday, September 2, City offices and Prescott Public Library will be closed, and some services will be affected. Solid Waste trash and recycling will be collected, however the transfer station will be closed. Here are some details:

SCHEDULE FOR CITY OF PRESCOTT OFFICES

The City of Prescott offices will be closed on Monday, September 2, 2024. City offices will reopen on Tuesday, September 3, at 8 a.m.

SCHEDULE FOR SOLID WASTE DIVISION

The Solid Waste Division will be collecting residential trash and recyclables on Monday, September 2. Please have your containers curbside by 6:00 a.m. Commercial routes will also be serviced on their regular schedule.

The City of Prescott Transfer Station is closed on Monday, September 2. The Transfer Station will reopen on Tuesday, September 3, from 7am – 3pm. Please remember to cover and contain all loads when transporting them to the Transfer Station.

Ironclad Bicycles, a locally owned full service bicycle shop in Prescott, AZ has immediate openings for a variety of positions including:
Retail Management and Team Members

Team Members will be enthusiastic about bicycles and bicycling, and want to learn how to help our customers find solutions to their needs. They must be willing to help with a variety of tasks from bicycle assembly, repair and maintenance, to sales and merchandising. Other desired skills could include computer operations, social media and website updates, and graphic design ability. Team members will work with the team leader to find where they best fit in, and are most likely to excel.

The Retail Manager will be a Team Leader. The ideal candidate will be a bicycle evangelist willing to share their love of bicycles and bicycling. They will be responsible for the general management of the shop, including employee supervision, scheduling, and training. They will work closely with the Service Manager, and will place regular and special orders and track inventory. They will ensure customer satisfaction, and follow up on warranty issues, manage communications with team members and suppliers, and manage community and event outreach. They will be in charge of solving problems, and generally doing everything needed to make the shop and team function well together.
