We are a woman veteran owned, family-run farm making pickles and jellies using ugly produce of Agriculture.
We are a small veteran owned family farm producing pickled products and jellies such as asparagus, eggs and prickly pear products, sourcing our produce from other small family farm businesses. Everything we make is packed by hand in old-fashioned mason jars just the way our grandmothers did. All of our products are HACCP based and lab tested for shelf life stability and safety. Good morning all!! We have been absent from markets and retail for a few years now due to caring full time for my mother, but she passed away peacefully in December.
We are now getting ready to ramp back up and jump in for the fall market season, but we would like to scale back and maybe only offer 8-10 of our most popular products.
What is your favorite pickled product, or top 3? Comment here and let us know!! Thank you!!!
Anniversary date night to see with special guest , it was a great show even though we accidentally showed up a day early for it and spent an extra night in the Valley π
A rare night out for us, we went to the hosted by the ; it was so good to see everyone π
I know we have been absent for the past six months, and I am so sorry we haven't been keeping everyone updated; six months ago we found out Dave has cancer and we have been about preoccupied...
He is going in for surgery today (prayers and blessings welcomed!! π) and hopefully in the next few months we will get back on track and posting and getting fabulous products out to everyone and to our customers at the farmers markets with Lucky B Acres!
Side note: we had to remove messenger from both personal and business profiles due to hacking and spam, so please be patient if you have sent us a message. I am not sure when I'll get it re-installed but hopefully shouldn't be too far out.
Thank you all for your patience and understanding ππ
Who can find me this kind of dog?!? It would fit in nicely with our animals....

Truth! We are actually down to just one goat, and he must be lonely because we woke up to him knocking on the front door yesterday, scared the crud out of us π. No clue how he got out, just thankful he didn't chow all the trees and grape vines.
A friend of mine makes these locally here in the Chino area; support local!!!!!
The newest member of our family is just the cutest!!
Happy National Pickle Day to us!!!!
We use ugly produce that would otherwise end up in the trash and landfills and turn it into amazing and nostalgic flavors!
What is your favorite kind/flavor of pickle?
I am partial to my pickled quail eggs and our horseradish pickles....
Happy Halloween!!!
It froze last night so I picked as many Carolina Reapers that I could, but there are still so many blossoms! We covered it up, hopefully it will make it through this cold spell and I'll put some heat on it and maybe keep it growing! These will be going in with green beans for a nice batch of Mean Beans!!
This is not spam; this is a very quick one minute presentation I did to explain what our goals are for Windswept Acres in the next few years... Let me know what y'all think! π I know it is rough, but recommendations are welcomed!

Our Story
We are a small, woman veteran owned family farm producing unique pickled products and jellies such as asparagus, eggs, bloody mary mix and prickly pear jellies, sourcing our produce from our own garden and other small family farm businesses as much as possible. Our goal is to help cut down on produce that ends up in landfills every year by using excess produce from small farmers and #2 produce that is not pretty enough to sell at market. Everything we make is packed by hand in old-fashioned mason jars just the way our grandmothers did. I have spent several years playing around and experimenting with recipes, having friends and family as willing guinea pigs for them all in order to come up with the amazing products we now offer, and our products are lab tested for shelf life stability and safety.
As we are a small production business that depends on fresh produce from around the state of Arizona, and we are just as dependent on Mother Nature as every other farmer, most of our products are seasonal and available while they last until our next batch of produce is ready. We are always on the hunt for more growers in the hopes of being able to offer more of our popular products year-round, so if you are a grower feel free to contact us and let us know what you might have available!
We also raise pigs and goats humanely, with no hormones or antibiotics. We offer all cuts of pork, including our hand ground sausage and special recipe bacon. Our farm is registered as a nest run egg producer and as a regulated grower through the Az Dept. of Agriculture.
