Week 1 for the summer of 2024 is in the record books....We want to thank everyone who visited us, what an amazing turn out. Also a huge thank you to all of our friends who showed up to help!!! I sure missed having these two guys on the grill. You don't realize how old you really are until you're done prepping, cooking and serving hundreds of delicious Hawaiian plate lunches. Aloha friends, I have had many of you ask me when you can get a Hawaiian Snowball again, or load up on some lugnuts (Aloha Chicken) or Sparkplugs (Spicy Aloha Chicken). Well we will be opening up Aloha Family Grill at 105 West Highway 89 in Garden City every Friday and Saturday through the end of August. Visit us at www.feelslikealoha.com for more info. We have the 20th Anniversary Celebration of Napoleon Dynamite coming up in Preston, Idaho on July 26 & 27. We are trying to get an idea of interest in the following T-shirts that we will be printing. We will be doing White with black lettering or Black with white lettering. If you think you or someone you know would be interested in one of these shirts, please respond with: Which design "Bowling" or "Tina"....Shirt size and color. A response does not indicate a purchase request, it just helps us to know a basic interest in design, color and sizes so we can order enough for the bowling alley merch shop and online sales. We apologize for the closure the past two days to fix our water main. We have repairs completed and will be open for business tomorrow from 3PM - 9PM.

For all our friends who say they miss the Island Bowl food, be sure to come to our open house celebration next Monday night, May 20th from 5 - 8. We will be closed for Open Bowling Today...Friday, March 22, 2004. We have a corporate party that has reserved the building. The restaurant, Jalapeno Jacqs will be open for food.

We will be closed for BOWLING on Friday, February 23 for repairs to our lanes. Jalepeno Jacqs will be open with all of their delicious food...if you haven't tried their menu yet, you need to come in. Don't be scared by the name, you can have anything with or without the spice.

Now that I'm out of the day to day food biz, I don't do food posts much. HOWEVER, Jackie and Luke down at Jalapeno Jaqcs saw my frustration trying to fix bowling machines and presented me with an amazing pick me up. Vanilla/Pineapple ice cream with smoked peaches (YES, SMOKED PEACHES) & Churro chips. Where has this been all my life. You have got to try this...go today and visit Jalapeno Jacq's in the Pop'N Pins Bowling Alley and try there desserts...AMAZING. The turkey avacado croissant is killer too.

34 years and a pound or two ago, I married my angel. She's still doing her best to drag me to heaven. I want to thank her for everything she does for me and my kids and my grand kids. She is the glue, the duct tape, the bailing wire and the velcro that keeps our family together and moving forward. If you know Lynn, you know how amazing she is!

Oh Baby! There are some good smells coming from the kitchen and some happy faces of the folks eating in the dining room. Jalapeno Jacq's is open for food....soft opening this week with the Grand Opening this Saturday, November 18th. You asked for variety of dining options in Preston.....Run in and try it....For those who can't handle spicy food, Jalapeno Jacq's can do it to your liking....mild to spicy. Psst TRY THE PHILLY!

It's that time of year again....Bowling Leagues start this week. All Pop'N Pin Locker Rentals are currently expired. Locker Rentals are $24 for 1 year (12 months). Please speak with an employee at the desk to renew your locker for this next year. All unpaid lockers will be cleaned out on October 15, 2023. So if you or someone you have bowled with still has equipment in one of the lockers, please ask them to come down and clean it out or pay for the next year. Thank you.

We are open today for bowling. Because the grill is closed and we are working on getting a new food vendor in place, we are allowing outside food at this time. So, grab a pizza or burgers and come in and enjoy some bowing.

School is back in session, kids are gettin wound up, it's time to go bowling again! Pop'N Pins Lanes is open Mon - Friday 5PM - 9PM and Saturday 11AM - 9PM. Yes, we are working on getting the food going soon. Come in, roll a few games and enjoy the best bowling that Preston has to offer!

Pop'N Pins will be opening back up for bowling tomorrow, Aug 15th at 5PM - 9PM. Our hours of operation through August will be Monday - Friday 5pm-9pm and Saturday 11am - 9pm.

Hello Friends, we wanted to let everyone know that we will be closed July 3 & 4th this next week. Also, we would like to share the big news that we are in contract talks with Mr Lou Drake of Preston who will be taking over Management of Pop'N Pins lanes and the restaurant in the bowling alley as of August 1, 2023. The Island Bowl Grill's last day of operations will be July 22, 2023. Island Bowl Grill will continue to offer catering services from the same location; however, catering will be based on reservations only. Thank you for your support over these past years, we are excited to see the growth that will come under Lou's management.

Giving our dad's a break for the weekend....Island Bowl Grill will be closing at 3PM on Saturday, June 17, 2023. The children still need to work, so bowling will be open until 8PM, just no food for the evening.

It is that time of year again....Pop'N Pins Lanes and Island Bowl Grill is starting its summer hours today. Through August, we will be closed on Sundays and Mondays and then open from 11 - 8 Tuesday thru Saturday. We hope you all have an amazing summer.

I'm stoked about our new neighbors at the Bowling Alley. I'm not a fan of waiting in the shop while I get my oil changed. Now, you drop your car for an oil change, you walk 80 feet to the bowling alley front door, you come in and eat, bowl, play pool or just visit. For those of you with kids, now you can multitask and give the kids something to do while the oil and l**e is taken care of on the vehicle.

Congrats to all the participants of the Preston High School Bowling Club in the completion of their inaugural season. Girls Team places 3rd in State and Boys team places 4th in State. A big shout out to Lyndon Smith for all his efforts and time sacrificed each week in helping these kids improve their game. Big thanks to Christy Jepperson for being in control and out of control depending on the circumstances and necessity of the moment. It's a lot of work to keep so many kids motivated. Great Season.

Congrats Dillon Smith on taking 1st place in Boys Singles at State. Good luck tomorrow with the Preston High School Club team.

Preston High School Bowling Club hosted their first match this afternoon vs Burley, Minico and Declo High Schools. It was a great event and we want to thank all the school advisors and coaches for all their efforts. We also want to thank all the parents, neighbors, league bowlers and friends that sacrificed their time to come and keep score for the kids. Retro bowling takes a little extra love and aloha to make things happen. MAHALO!

What a great start! Preston High School Bowling Club participated in their first ever event today in Pocatello. The results from the Eastern Idaho Varsity Invitational - - - Both Girls and Boys teams place first and take home the gold and the trophies. Congrats to all the participants. A big thanks to Lyndon Smith for teaching and instructing all these kids each Saturday Morning in the youth league. Also, kudos to Christy Jepperson for all her time and effort in keeping the bowling club running like a well oiled machine. Great kids + great adult advisors = GREAT RESULTS.

Aloha Friends, we're excited to announce that the Preston High School Bowling Club will be participating in their first year of High School Bowling. As a new team, they can
really use your help to start this great tradition off right. The team is looking for sponsors to help with travel, uniform and equipment costs. Anything will help.
