Meet Dr. Shah, our newest expert and skilled Mohs surgeon at Lockhart Matter Dermatology!

Dr. Shah brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our practice. Originally from Plano, Texas, he’s a true Renaissance man with passions that extend far beyond dermatology. He loves to watch boxing and MMA, enjoys cooking, and has a creative side—he used to paint murals! Fun fact: he once played basketball with Mark Wahlberg! 🏀

Dr. Shah graduated Phi Beta Kappa from MIT and went on to attend Stanford Medical School. He completed his dermatology residency at the prestigious Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC, followed by a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Facial Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Cincinnati. As a specialist, he performs a wide range of cosmetic procedures, including hair transplants, facelifts, brow lifts, and upper and lower blepharoplasties.

When he’s not helping patients achieve their skincare goals, you might find him watching his guilty pleasure, “Love is Blind.” 💕 And speaking of skincare, his top tip? Always wear sunscreen and incorporate retinol into your routine! ☀️
