Texas Instruments still making progress.........
Has anyone noticed any changes near Central Expwy over the last 60 years or so? society (The FAA wouldn't let me get high enough to get the same angle, but you can get the idea.)
Yes, but were you in the crowd?
A little inappropriateness going on downtown Prosper, Saturday night.
Drive downtown (Prosper) for some lunch or evening entertainment and notice what The Gin has going-on in their backyard. They are constantly updating their facility to offer you a better and more fun experience. Bob Jameson (McKinley Creek Homes) is the kingpin coordinating the project. Take a peek in the Patio area.

Ok, just for laughs-and-giggles, click on the following link to see some interesting information about "where people are moving from". Or, for the quick-and-dirty, scroll down to the bottom of the page to the "Search by City or Zip Code", then click on the search icon at the top left of the map. Type in Celina, Prosper or 75078 to get to your area. The map is very clickable and will reveal a graph of where people have moved from.

Downtown Prosper in 2017.
Driving North on the Future Tollway, it's hard not to notice Prosper's Signature Downtown.

Texas Instruments in Sherman making real progress. I counted (15) cranes. https://dallasinnovates.com/report-texas-instruments-is-spending-2-2b-on-initial-phase-of-30b-sherman-semiconductor-campus/
Well.......................this was (?) supposed to be our new office. However, Teague and Luke got over zealous and leased the whole building. Therefore, our new office (future) will be next door to this one, and still have the great downtown presence.
Another involvement of Brown & Griffin.
We had a successful Groundbreaking this morning for the new office. However, the ground was too muddy, so we had to borrow Kathy Webster's lot (Collin County Land Company) next door to set-up the spot. We appreciate the attendance of numerous supportive folks including: Texas Congressman Keith Self, Town Mayor David Bristol, Ex-Mayor Ray Smith, Town Manager Mario Canizares and other wonderful family and friends.
Brown & Griffin groundbreaking (for new office) this Friday morning. Come out and witness the beginning of our new location.
Ground Breaking Come join us for a groundbreaking Ceremony for Brown Griffin s Downtown Retail Space!
In case some of y'all were wondering if the $30 Billion plant of Texas Instruments, was going to be real or not? This is pretty good evidence that somebody is sincere. I count (12) cranes. How many do you count?
Some of the things that are going-on in our area.
Just in case you were wondering, the PGA is still making progress.....
Saturday night at The Gin.
Amos Hays (grandfather to Bill Hays, that wrote the Prosper History Book) was the first known law enforcement officer in the Town of Prosper. He was the Town Marshal in the early 1900's and was killed outside of a restaurant he owned on Broadway Street in downtown Prosper on July 18, 1917. He was shot four times by Mr. T.E. Wadkins with a .38 revolver. They were business partners and the shooting was a result of a disagreement about the business. Amos is buried at the Walnut Grove Cemetery in Prosper. For more information on the Hays Family, click on this link to an excerpt from Bill's Book. www.walnutgrovecemeteryprosper.com/History/Hays.pdf
