On the final night of the 2023 Go Global Awards, Joseph R. Paolino, Jr., Managing Partner at Paolino Properties, emphasized the importance of international partnerships in today's interconnected world. Sharing the (virtual) stage with U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo, RI Secretary of Commerce Elizabeth M. Tanner, Esq., Deputy Director General of the U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service at the International Trade Administration (ITA) James Golsen, and the accomplished award winners, he recounted stories from his experiences in both the public and private sectors, underscoring that Rhode Island stands as an excellent partner for businesses seeking to thrive in the global economy.

Hosted this year by Rhode Island Commerce and the International Trade Council, the Go Global Awards celebrate those companies driving economies forward through their ongoing innovations, technologies and strategies. Providence welcomed over 400 companies and 50 local & foreign governments for three days of idea sharing, educational sessions, networking, as well as some time to explore all Rhode Island has to offer.

The Go Global Awards strive to continuously build a community of manufacturers, exporters and related service providers to support one another, share ideas, create partnerships and build on their existing knowledge and connections.
