ABC Pediatric Dentistry
We're a pediatric dentist office in Providence, UT! Our goal is to create positive dental experiences for kids of all ages. We keep kids smiling!
We have big love for little teeth β€οΈ Happy Valentines Day!
February is children's dental health month! Tooth decay is the most common childhood disease with every 3 out of 5 kids affected. However, tooth decay is almost entirely preventable! ABC Pediatric Dentistry is here to help keep your kids healthy π¦·πͺ₯β¨
The dentist can seem really daunting to our little ones. We are more than happy to have them bring their baby sharks (or any other furry friends) to help make them feel more comfortable. π§Έβ€οΈ
What movie do you think he's watching? π€ We love when our patients lose themselves in the show!
We love a good toothbrushing habit, but sometimes kids brush their teeth too hard. This can wear down enamel and result in tooth sensitivity, receding gums, and yellowish teeth. π¬ The key to gauging your child's brush technique is to look at their toothbrush. If the bristles look flat and worn (while still relatively new), then they may be brushing too hard. Remind your littles to use a gentle, circular motion when they brush to keep those teeth clean and happy!
"We LOVE ! They always make sure we are comfortable and taken care of. Lola had a small cavity that needed to be taken care of. She was a champ and Dr. Brandon and his team were quick to make Lola feel better!"
Thanks for the shoutout, ! π₯°
When it comes to pediatric health, communication is key! π¬ Our dentists always strive to communicate with both patient and parent to ensure a happy, no-stress experience.
Looking for something to work on in 2023? π Make a goal to brush your teeth with your little ones more often! π¦· Your example can help them set lifelong habits that will benefit their dental hygiene.
Happy Holidays! π We hope you enjoy this time with your families, and may your teeth stay merry and bright! β¨
A little known fact about this time of year is that kids (and adults π) tend to eat more sweets! A pro tip we often give is to have your kids rinse their mouth and drink lots of water after eating any sugary snacks. π¦ Moderate treats when you can to keep those teeth healthy and happy!
Our practice wouldn't be what it is without our awesome patients! π₯° If you recently visited our office, give us a review online so we know how we did!
Who else uses a toothbrush as a stocking stuffer? πββοΈ Christmas isn't the only good time to get a new one though! We recommend you get a new brush every three months, or after you've been sick.
Happy Thanksgiving! We're so grateful for our . β€οΈ
Thanksgiving is just about here! Here are four common foods that can aid in your oral health this season:
-Turkey helps build your enamel. π
-Cranberries act as an anti-inflammatory and help keep bacteria off of teeth. π
-Green beans are a great source for magnesium. πͺ
-Sweet potatoes are rich in vitamin A, which helps with saliva production. π
What Thanksgiving dish are you looking forward to most this year?
"Dr. Brandon at ABC Pediatric Dentistry was so careful attentive to her noise sensitivity. He talked to her the entire time, explained what was happening, and what he was about to do. As a mom, I am extremely happy with how they have treated my little one."
This brave little lady showed so much bravery as we took care of a few cavities and managed the whole situation like a champ! Reviews like this are why we do what we do. πππ§‘
Happy Halloween from all of us at ABC Pediatric Dentistry! We encourage you to enjoy your candy π ...just don't forget to brush. π
The cavity-free-three strike again! π¦·π¦·π¦· These kiddos are the best and are always so excited to hear that they have no cavities!
Have you ever noticed those cute little bumps on the edge of your child's front teeth? Those are mamelons! They are usually only presents for a short while after a child's tooth first erupts. They are completely normal and form as the result of enamel fusing together when the tooth is still developing. π
Don't forget to take a picture at your kiddo's next dentist appointment! ππ» we love to see them!
We love hearing from our patients and are so thankful for each and every review. π
We think it's time to bring in your little princesses for a royal teeth cleaning! πΈπΌ

Creating Positive Dental Experiences
Our main goal and what our practice is focused around is children and making sure they have a positive experience while receiving their dental care. For most of our patients, coming to the dentist isnβt a scary thing, watching their favorites movies, playing with the toys and getting at prize when theyβre done is a positive and exciting experience.
Our staff is trained to work with certain behavior management techniques and to use language that is kid-friendly. We want every child to leave with a smile on their face and with a good foundation for dental care that theyβll remember the rest of their lives.
