Starting this weekend: summer hours! 1pm open on Saturdays and Sundays

Construction update: the Scurvy Dog parking lot will be closed on tuesday 6/11 to ALL vehicles. We will be OPEN and the tables will be outside. The driveway will be paved that day and reopened Wednesday morning. As usual you can park in the lot across the street while being respectful of their property. Thanks for understanding this inconvenience!

Scurvs, the final stage of road construction is occurring for the next couple weeks. We temporarily have a tamped gravel drive way. This doesnt change much, but our motor cycle riders should be extremely careful and maybe even ride in over the grass next to the driveway. In the coming weeks, the driveway may be shut down for a couple days when they pour cement. When this occurs, feel free to park at the school across the street while being respectful of their property. The Dog will be open everyday as usual!!!!!! John Waters is at the Columbus today! We're opening early (2pm). We're pouring a few drinks in his honor, transgressive filth on the screens, party!

There's a bunch of John Waters related s**t going on in Providence this weekend, so The Scurvy Dog is going to join in on the fun! We'll have special drinks, transgressive filth on screen, and we're opening up early on Saturday to accommodate the thirsty.

Around town, there's a stage production of Cry-Baby at Rhode Island College (7:30pm FRI / 1:00pm & 7:30pm SAT / 1:00pm SUN). There's a Cry-Baby Shindig Dance party at Myrtle on Friday from 8pm to 11pm with Greenwood Hi-Fi and the Soapbox Saints. And of course there's the actual John Waters 78th Birthday Show at the Columbus Theatre at 8pm on Saturday (not sold out yet, but it probably will so don't snooze).
